• CONSTRUCTABILITY REVIEW

Our experienced Construction Engineers carry out constructability / fabricability review of design drawings and documents prior to the commencement of procurement and pre-fabrication activities. Required clarifications are communicated to designated team via Technical Query and suggestion for improvements via Concession Request.

•  FABRICATION SHOP DRAWING DETAILING

Detailing is the process of translating engineering design drawings and documentations to fabrication shop drawings. The shop drawings are used by the fabricators to identify the size, shape, connection details, weld type and material grade of every single piece of the elements that make up the facility under construction.

We provide specialized work and accurate CAD detailed fabrication drawings by applying the latest AutoCAD technology and deliver to our esteemed clients the highest quality solutions for business.

JTS detailed shop drawings comprise of cut sheet, weld map, bill of material, painting surface area, technical and quality information required for the complete fabrication of the facility.

•  Plate nesting and profiles cutting layout which provide the most economical cutting layout of materials to minimize material wastage.

• Tubular mating templates for accurate coping of all tubular joints.

• DEFINE ERECTION METHOD

We study facility components and define the most economical, systematic sequence and the extent of shop floor sub-assembly, fabrication yard erection and the field final erection in compliance with the project technical, quality and safety requirements with the capacity of available facilities in view.

•  WEIGHT MONITORING

JTS perform weight control and reporting as fabrication progresses to avoid undue change in the Center of Gravity (CoG), strength of components and lifting schedule for facilities under construction.

• RIGGING ARRANGEMENT

Rigging accessories selection and arrangement analysis and drawings are prepared for sub-assembly lifting and final assembly load out.

• FABRICATED MATERIAL TRACEABILITY

To ensure the use of the right type, size and grade of materials during construction, JTS performs material traceability using our standard format which is reportable and reusable for material reconciliation after completion of all fabrication work.

•  AS-BUILT DOCUMENTATION

 We prepare and compile all As-Built Drawings and Documentation for submission to client during project closure in the agreed formats.

• LOAD OUT AND SITE INSTALLATIONS

We consider both land and sea transportation of our products, offshore and onshore installations as our responsibility and hence confirm our technical and emergency response readiness and competence in this area.

2. PROCUREMENT, EVALUATION AND EXPEDITING SERVICES

 We have a team of dedicated procurement experts with a wide sourcing network locally and internationally with manufacturers and distributors.

Our team of Engineer is also available for Technical Evaluation of bids offered by our vendors, suppliers and manufacturers to ensure that materials and equipments to be delivered conform to project technical and quality requirements.

We also prepare checklist and carry out system inspection and evaluation for compliance with design specifications and standards.

3. CONSTRUCTION AND FABRICATION

• FABRICATION

Prior to the erection stage, all the elements that make up each of the items shall be prefabricated based on the detail shop drawings. The joint edges shall be prepared for welding according to the shop drawings in compliance with the requirements of the approved WPS for such joints.

To minimise material wastage, cutting error and marking time, JTS engineers produce the following;

•  CONSTRUCTION LAYOUT AND DIMENSIONAL CONTROL

JTS surveyors and construction team ensure correct and accurate layout and erection of facilities by controlling the level and orientation of each element as assembly and erection progresses

Fabrication Dimensional Control which is a Zero-Defect Fabrication error assurance process that prevents error such as flange centers, lengths, rotations and skews for piping spools. Our trained and experienced team of construction engineers and surveyors carries out dimensional control with precision equipments and tools, for verification and assurance work to ensure that piping spools, lines and structures match or satisfy design specifications as fabrication progresses 

• PIPE LAYING

 JTS procedure for laying pipe is rooted in international best practice standards and dynamic to suit both terrain and system requirements.

4. QUALITY INSPECTION SERVICES

JTS have a team of experienced, trained and certified welding, coating and material inspectors but opened to third party participation in case it is required by clients.
